Bad news again this month for Williams and BMW as BARs F1 car out performs the new Williams-BMW car at after a test at Kyalami in South Africa. Ralf Schumacher timed at 1m23.7s and Jenson Button with 1m23.94
Still more bad news as Jenson Button may still not have a licence. Jenson must complete 300km of testing on two succesive days before his licence will be granted. Williams are playing this down at the moment. But I for one hope he gets it soon.
This month has seen the sensational chance for 19 year old Jenson Button to join the F1 Williams Racing Team for the 2000 Season. A show down will take place between Jenson and Bruno Junqueira this friday and staurday at Spains Jerez race track. The Driver with the most Impressionable skill is most likely to replace ALEX Zanardi and join Ralf Schumacher.
At 19 he will be one of the youngest if he passes the Test. Frank Williams is reported to has stated that "The future is in youth and we like the odd risk.occasionally"
Frank does not want to be caugth with his pant down again, like the time that Eddie Jordon turned up with a young michael schumacher in 1991 at the Belgian Grand Prix. MJW 16-01-00
